Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use our website, request a quote, or hire The Water Boy.
Welcome to The Waterboy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and customer portal, and the plumbing services we provide. Please read them carefully. By using our site or hiring us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using our website, creating a customer account, requesting a quote, or engaging us for service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Who We Are
Our services are provided by The Water Boy Plumbing Services, LLC, a family-owned plumbing company licensed in Texas as a Responsible Master Plumber (RMP-46364), serving San Antonio and surrounding areas. References to "we," "us," and "our" mean this company.
3. Our Services
We provide residential and commercial plumbing services, including water softeners and filtration, sewer line repair and camera inspection, water heater and tankless service, drain cleaning, leak detection, repiping and gas lines, fixture installation, and emergency service. Descriptions on our website are for general information; the exact scope of any job is defined in the quote or work order you approve.
4. Quotes, Estimates & Pricing
We aim to provide upfront, flat-rate pricing approved before work begins. Quotes and estimates are based on the information available at the time and the conditions we can observe. If we discover hidden conditions — for example, concealed damage, code issues, or access problems — we will inform you and provide revised pricing for your approval before continuing that additional work.
Estimates are valid for the period stated on the quote. Prices may change if the scope of work changes or if you request additional services.
5. Booking & Scheduling
Submitting a booking request through our website is a request for service, not a confirmed appointment, until we confirm it with you. We will make reasonable efforts to meet scheduled windows, but arrival times may be affected by emergencies, weather, or prior jobs running long. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as early as possible. Certain services may require a deposit, which will be disclosed in advance.
6. Payment
Payment is due as stated on your invoice, typically upon completion of the work unless other terms are agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods listed at the time of service. Late or unpaid balances may be subject to reasonable late fees and collection costs to the extent permitted by law. Financing, where offered, is subject to separate terms provided with your quote.
7. Customer Portal Accounts
If you create an account in our customer portal, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are misused or that violate these Terms.
8. Workmanship & Warranties
We stand behind our work. Specific warranty coverage for labor and parts is described in your quote, invoice, or work order, and manufacturer warranties may apply to equipment we install. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, alterations by others, normal wear, or conditions outside our control. To make a warranty claim, contact us with your invoice details.
Except as expressly stated in your written warranty or required by law, services and products are provided without other warranties (see Disclaimers below).
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our website or services to:
- Break the law or infringe the rights of others.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the website or its security features.
- Copy, scrape, or reuse our content without permission.
10. Intellectual Property
The website and its content — including text, graphics, logos, and the The Water Boy name and branding — are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. You may use the site for its intended purpose but may not reproduce or distribute our content without our written permission.
11. Disclaimers
Our website is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to keep information accurate and current, we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or up to date. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except for any express warranty we provide in writing for completed work.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Waterboy and its owners and employees will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and these limits do not affect your rights under any written workmanship warranty we provide for completed services.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Waterboy from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the website, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or our services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. We encourage you to contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly and fairly by talking with us directly.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of our website or services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
